Biography
Professor Luciana Carvalho de Mesquita Ferreira is a Professor of Leadership and Organizational Behavior at Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC), one of Brazil’s leading business schools. Her research and teaching focus on power and leadership, organizational culture and climate, diversity and inclusion, and youth employment in contemporary organizations.
Before joining FDC, she was a faculty member at Insper (2010–2019) and a visiting professor at Aarhus University in Denmark. Luciana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, a Master’s in Administration from CEPEAD / UFMG, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
Her academic work explores how organizational systems shape equitable and inclusive workplaces, and she has contributed to research on executive social activism and productive youth inclusion. In addition to her teaching and research, Professor Ferreira serves as a reviewer for several national and international journals.
