Biography
Joanne Etherton is an experienced lawyer with nearly 30 years’ private practice experience of advising companies and their shareholders on pensions-related issues and is now ClientEarth’s climate finance project lead. Joanne’s work focuses on developing and implementing legal strategies to drive greater integration of climate-related financial risks into the investment decisions of asset owners and asset managers including in the pensions industry.
Prior to joining ClientEarth, Joanne was a pensions partner in the London office of international law firm, Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP, with most of her work focused on the pensions aspects of cross-border corporate transactions and restructurings.
