Associate Dean, Degree Programmes
Graham Hastie was appointed as Associate Dean for Degree Programmes in February 2015. In this role, Graham is responsible for the commercial leadership of INSEAD’s US$125m degree programme portfolio. His global functional responsibilities include strategy, marketing, sales, admissions, financial aid, programme operations, student life and career services. Based in Singapore, Graham travels regularly to the Fontainebleau and Abu Dhabi campuses to oversee his global team of around 125 dedicated professionals.
Before joining INSEAD, Graham was the managing director of a boutique consulting firm that provided strategy, operations and rankings advice to a range of academic and not-for-profit institutions across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and North America. Graham has previously worked as strategy director and head of fundraising and communications at London Business School, as an engagement manager for McKinsey and Company in London and as a design engineer with Robert Bosch in Germany.
Graham has served INSEAD in several volunteer roles including a spell as President of the UK Alumni Association from 2011 through 2014, during which time he launched the Doriot distinguished speaker series and initiated Global INSEAD Day.
Graham is an alumnus of INSEAD’s full-time MBA programme, from which he graduated with distinction in July 1995. He also holds a Masters degree in Electronic Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
