Florian Bertele is a passionate builder and investor in technology products, with over 15 years of experience in driving innovation and scaling AI-powered solutions. As a product leader, Florian has held roles at global tech giants like Google and PayPal, where he contributed to transformative products including Google Lens, Google Maps, and experimental projects at Area 120, Google’s in-house incubator.
Based in San Francisco, Florian is also a dedicated angel investor with a keen focus on machine learning and data-driven innovation in products and business models. He is a core team member of the INSEAD USA Angel Club and serves as an Investment Fellow with Xoogler.co, a Google alumni investment network supporting early-stage startups. Florian holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Masters in Computer Science from Ulm University, Germany.
