Biography

Emma Goltz MBA'98J is the Vice Chair of the INSEAD Board of Directors. She holds an MBA from INSEAD, earned in 1998 with Dean's List honors, and a BA (Hons) in Economics and Pure Mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin.

Emma's career spans various industries and roles, showcasing her versatility and leadership. She served as Chair of the INSEAD Alumni Fund from 2017 to 2023. She co-owns Manton Grange Farm in Wiltshire, UK, a family-owned farming and equestrian business focused on show jumping, since 2003.

Previously, Emma worked at Bain & Company in San Francisco as a Manager from 1998 to 2004. Before that, she held positions in the financial sector, including Senior Dealer-Fixed Income at the Bank of Ireland Group Treasury in Dublin and London from 1994 to 1997, and as Trader and Economist at National Irish Bank in Dublin from 1990 to 1994.

Emma is deeply committed to community service and institutional advancement. She has been a Trustee and Chair of Development at the Contemporary Art Society in London since 2016, and a Trustee and Chair of Finance at the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin since 2013. In the US, Emma has been actively involved with the March of Dimes since 2005, serving on various committees and leading numerous fundraising initiatives.

She has also made significant contributions to the arts and education. Emma is a Trustee at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco, where she has served on the Development, Academic, and Governance Committees since 2011. She was a member of the Board of Governors for the San Francisco Symphony from 2010 to 2016, chairing the Development Steering Committee and serving on the Executive and Education Committees. At Sacred Heart Schools in Atherton, California, she was a Trustee from 2007 to 2013, chairing the Strategic Planning Committee and contributing to a successful $110M capital campaign.

Additionally, Emma served on the board of SMART-Student Mentoring and Resource Teaching in San Francisco from 2005 to 2013, where she chaired the Strategic Planning Committee.
