Claude Haberer is Advisor to the President of Bangkok Bank in charge of Wealth Management since 1st January 2022.

Previously he was Equity Partner at Banque Pictet & Cie where he was CEO and then Chairman of Pictet Wealth Management Asia from 2011 to 2021 and led the expansion of the bank in that region. Prior to joining the Pictet Group, Claude held a number of senior management positions within the BNP Paribas Group, including CEO of BNP Paribas Private Bank, North Asia.

Claude has a Master’s degree in Chinese Language and Civilisation from the National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilisations (INALCO) Paris, and an MBA from Ecole des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) Paris. He was also a student at Moscow State University. In addition to his native French and English, he is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Russian, German and Spanish. Claude is President of the Ricci Association, publisher of the largest bilingual dictionary of the Chinese language and a Knight of the National Order of Merit of the French Republic.

He is also a  Member of the Investment Committee of the Society of Jesus in Rome and an Advisor to Nine Basil, a Private Equity Fund based in Bangkok focusing on Thailand.
