Chwee Foon Lim is Co-Founder and Group CEO of Kineability, an AI startup developing novel intelligence system powered by human movement. Her work focuses on motion intelligence, with applications spanning healthcare, human performance, robotics and advancing new frontiers in embodied AI.
She has over 30 years of international leadership experience in the life sciences and healthcare sectors, having lived and worked across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Prior to founding Kineability, she served as CEO, Asia Pacific at Ekso Bionics, a global leader in robotics, where she drove industry transformation through innovative robotics technologies.
Previously, she was Head of Healthcare, Asia Pacific at The Linde Group, where she built and led an integrated respiratory care business across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and homecare. She has extensive experience in China, including building healthcare businesses from the ground up, and a strong track record in scaling new ventures in robotics and healthcare digitalization.
Chwee Foon is a frequent speaker at leadership and technology forums, and is passionate about transforming patient care through AI, robotics, and digital health.
She serves as a Board Member of INSEAD and is a member of its Audit, Finance and Risk Committee. She also teaches in INSEAD’s Executive MBA programme on business innovation, technology and digital transformation.
She holds an MBA (Distinction) from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore
