Additional Information

Antoine (Tony) Duvauchelle is an entrepreneur and Lecturer at INSEAD. He teaches strategy, innovation, and leadership for executive education programmes in addition to the MBA and EMBA capstone courses where he leads the development and delivery efforts. Drawing on his roots as a 5th-generation member of a legacy family business, Antoine brings a unique 'long-view' perspective to his work, blending a deep-rooted understanding of legacy with modern entrepreneurial agility.

Antoine’s areas of expertise include strategy, venture capital (VC), and innovation, which fuels his passion for teaching how corporate and family businesses of any size or maturity level can scale for growth and success. He leverages his experience in navigating complex stakeholder dynamics, next-gen leadership transitions, and the impact of geopolitics on corporate strategy, utilizing scenario planning to help leaders build resilience in a multi-polar world.

Previously, he was an Entrepreneur in Residence for Project A Ventures, a leading internet VC company in Europe, where he led the international business development of Tirendo, an innovative e-commerce company (acquired for €50m). He was before this an associate at Good Energies, a leading €2bn global PE/VC clean energy technologies investment firm.

Antoine was also a Senior Consultant for Frontier Economics Ltd., a boutique economics consultancy in London. In this role, he advised European utility companies, institutional banks, and large corporations on questions of strategy, regulation, and anti-trust, often centered around complex market scenarios.

He holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Master’s degree in International Politics and Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Maryland. Antoine was once an Ironman triathlete.
