Alex “Sandy” Pentland is faculty at Stanford, and previously helped build the MIT Media Lab. Co-founder of companies that touch hundreds of millions of people daily in health, media, security, and advisor to political leaders (UN Sec. General, EU Presidency), companies (Google, AT&T, Telefonica, Nissan), and major investment funds (Abu Dhabi’s Sovereign Wealth funds, etc). One of the most cited authors in computer science, he is also member of US National Academy of Engineering.
