I feel deeply grateful to be part of a community united by purpose and generosity. Every day, I see how your support strengthens INSEAD through its lasting impact on our students, faculty, and the wider world.
In an outstanding year, the Financial Times again ranked INSEAD the #1 business school in Europe, and our MBA, MIM and Executive Education programmes all performed extremely well. These achievements reflect the vital role our donors play in enabling excellence.
In the 2024-2025 academic year, 5,762 donors helped INSEAD raise €44.4 million in gifts and pledges. Behind every donation is a story: individuals, classes and groups coming together to make a difference. Your generosity allows us to invest in our mission and respond to new opportunities.
In Fontainebleau, the Europe Campus Re-imagination continues to take shape. A highlight was the inauguration of the Octapharma Building, named in honour of the Octapharma Foundation’s transformational donation, made possible by Wolfgang Marguerre MBA’72. We were also very grateful to receive a generous donation to the Re-imagination project from Julien Firmenich MBA’08J.
Meanwhile, we marked the 25th anniversary of the Asia Campus in Singapore with a milestone week of academic events and celebrations that brought our global community together, including the opening of the TenJay Bar, recognising a substantial gift from the MBA Class of July 2010.
Your support also advanced key initiatives in teaching and research. Thanks to the gift from Brazilian firm Suzano to support teaching and research that aligns business with sustainable development, we launched the INSEAD Suzano Collaboration for Progress in 2025.
In addition, the €3.2 million pledged to the Dean’s Fund this year gives us the flexibility to meet emerging needs, and I’m especially grateful to Aaro Eide MBA’91J and Georg Madersbacher MBA’90D for their gift to the Fund.
As ever, scholarships remain a crucial area of need and impact, with the €7.1 million we received this year creating life-changing opportunities for talented individuals regardless of their circumstances.
