INSEAD students in the classes of MBA’22J, MBA’22D and MIM’22 upheld the tradition of the Robin Hood Scholarship Campaign last academic year. Over an intense week of fun activities and outreach led by student volunteers, each class raised funds to “pay it forward” by awarding a scholarship to a future student.
Across these three classes and their Robin Hood Campaigns, a total of 653 students started their own philanthropic traditions as first-time donors.
Encouraged by a challenge gift from Chwee Foon Lim and Shaun Tan, both MBA’98D, the students in MBA’22J exceeded their goals with 67% participation and 335 donors. As part of their campaign, MBA’22J students also created and auctioned off INSEAD’s first-ever NFT, RobinGood #1, adding more than €2,500 to their scholarship. MBA’22D secured gifts from 39% of their classmates.
Meanwhile, MIM’22 – the second cohort of INSEAD’s newest academic programme – exceeded last year’s pioneering results by MIM’21. Challenges from both Bansi Nagji MBA’93J and MIM Director Thibault Seguret MBA’12J motivated all 129 MIM’22 students to contribute to their Robin Hood campaign. With results like these from INSEAD’s youngest cohort, the future is bright!
