On 26-28 June 2026, the class of MBA'96J will return to Fontainebleau for their 30-year reunion.
For our 30th Reunion Class Gift, the MBA’96J class is coming together to honour our much-loved and deeply missed friend and classmate, Kieran Smith, who passed away last October. We are establishing an endowed scholarship in his memory to support the diversity that lies at the heart of the INSEAD MBA programme - across country of origin, academic and professional background, gender, and life experience.
Kieran embodied the values we associate with INSEAD: curiosity, generosity, and friendship. Claire, Kieran’s widow, shared that he deeply valued his time at INSEAD and treasured the lifelong friendships he made here. She believes he would have loved the idea of enabling someone else to benefit from the same life-changing experience.
This scholarship will support the school’s commitment to bringing outstanding men and women professionals to the programme, particularly those who demonstrate a need for financial assistance. Scholarships play a vital role in keeping INSEAD globally competitive while upholding its longstanding commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. By enabling aspiring business leaders to attend INSEAD regardless of background or financial circumstances, we help ensure that our community reflects the richness and diversity of the world it serves.
All MBA’96J donations to any INSEAD initiative will also count toward the class reunion giving total.
