Open One-Way Interview
Congratulations on reaching this crucial step of your online application for the INSEAD PhD in Management Programme for the 2026 intake.
We are delighted that you have taken the final step in expressing your interest in our premier doctoral programme in management.
The open, one-way interview is a critical step in your application. It offers another platform to showcase your interest in the PhD Programme, so take full advantage of it. There are no right or wrong answers during your recorded interviews. Take your time to think through the questions and record your answers twice if you need to. Maximise this opportunity to express your passion for a lifetime commitment to academic research as a management professor, as well as your research interests and how these fit in the overall research agenda of INSEAD and the area you’ve chosen. Moreover, once successfully admitted, you can reference this interview to track your progress as a speaker and communicator, which is crucial to your development as an academic and professor.
Are you ready to start recording your one-way interview? If so, please proceed to the third tab on this page.
However, we encourage you to please read the succeeding tabs for instructions and essential information before recording your answers. If you have applied to two areas of specialisation, you only need to submit the open one-way interview once.
The Open One-Way Interview adds value to your application; therefore, please submit your recorded interviews by the stipulated deadline. Please go to https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html to check the local time in your area.
Good luck with your application!
