The INSEAD Master in Management yields a lifetime of dividends, both professionally and personally. Pursuing a MIM Programme however, is a serious commitment of time and money—an investment that needs to be carefully considered and planned for by applicants.

Though the responsibility of funding your year at INSEAD ultimately lies with you, the MIM Financial Aid Office can assist you in planning your financing for the INSEAD MIM programme.

Tuition fees cover all printed course materials, access to the INSEAD library, access to on-campus information technology services, student council fees, gym access, business cards, printing and health insurance.

Living Expenses

Estimated living expenses during the MIM programme

Rent and other living expenses vary considerably depending on the participant’s family situation, lifestyle choices and financial means.

MIM students can expect to incur a total estimated living expenses of €20,975 for the duration of the course. A survey of INSEAD MIM graduates shows the following average expenses during the programme:

Airfare	€1,600	Make the travel arrangements well in advance to keep the expense down. It will depend a lot on the country of your residence.
Accomodation	€10,000	Students rent apartments, studios or share houses in Fontainebleau. Singapore rentals include apartments.
Local Transport	€500	You can buy metro and bus cards in both France and Singapore. Fontainebleau campus is within walking distance from the town centre.
Food	€5,000	Both campuses offer the possibility for an inexpensive meal at the cafeteria.
Field trip to the USA	€2,500	You need to plan for the travel, meals and accommodation. You will incur additional expenses for other trips.
Other miscellaneous expenses (related to leisure, visas, health, sports, mobile phone)	€1,375	These expenses will depend largely on one’s lifestyle and personal arrangements.
Total estimated annual expenses on the MIM Programme	€20,975	The range is from €19,000 to €21,500€ and depends on individual needs and arrangements. Advance planning and shared accommodation will help to master the budget. Paid internship at the end of the programme will also help to generate some income.

Financing and Scholarships

INSEAD Scholarships are the most sought-after source of financial assistance. Several Diversity and Achievement Scholarship awards will be made in each round of admission. No application is required as awards are made based on the admission application. Diversity Scholarships will be granted to MIM candidates who bring diversity to the class in terms of background and personal profiles. Achievement Scholarships will be granted to candidates who demonstrate excellence in academics and personal accomplishments. Only successful candidates will be notified of an award by email following admission. If you do not receive an e-mail, please consider that you have not been selected.
