Practicals
Alongside the core courses, the MIF includes three immersive practical weeks in Period 2, Period 3 and Period 4 designed to help you apply classroom learning to real-world finance decisions. These integrated experiences help you think and act like a finance professional from the very start of your MIF journey, ensuring you are prepared to execute complex decisions when you join future employers.
These practicals connect finance with strategy, marketing and entrepreneurial thinking. Throughout the week, you will work closely with faculty and engage with practitioners who join as guest speakers, case protagonists or members of judging panels.
Period 2
M&A Deal Lab
Integrate valuation with strategic analysis as you assess a full acquisition and present your deal rationale.
Period 3
AI Practicum
Generative AI is transforming the way we work, collaborate and moving the frontier on the value a single worker can produce. In finance, that shift is already visible in how analysts research companies, screen opportunities, draft memos and interrogate data. Recruiters are increasingly expecting graduates to be able to leverage Generative AI effectively and responsibly. Over five hands-on days, this Practical builds the aptitude to collaborate with AI and harness it effectively, moving from simple prompting to orchestrating systems. You leave able to demonstrate judgement about where generative AI genuinely creates advantage and where it quietly creates risk.
Period 4
Investment Launch Challenge
Build and pitch a new investment fund, combining investment logic with entrepreneurial, sales and marketing considerations.
