    Overview

    The Esa Hietala Endowed Scholarship Fund was created in 2004 by INSEAD Professor Pekka Hietala in memory of his late father Esa Hietala. A leading auditor in Finland from 1970 till 1990, Esa Hietala was a strong proponent of equal educational possibilities for all Finnish citizens regardless of their social background. This endowed scholarship fund supports one scholarship each year for a deserving candidate from Finland who is admitted to the full-time MBA Programme. 

    Applications for this scholarship are opened for Rounds 1, 2 and 3. All applications will be reviewed right after the deadline.

    Finnish candidates admitted to the MBA programme may apply. Consideration will be given to both merit and financial need.

    1) In approximately 300 words account for your views on the future of the Finnish economy over the next decade. What do you consider your potential contribution will be?

    2) In approximately 150-200 words provide a concise but accurate description of your financial circumstances as well as a cash flow forecast for the year at INSEAD (details of income set against all expenditures).
