Cyndi Zhang (2012)
Dissertation Chair: Henrich Greve
Cyndi Man Zhang is an associate professor of strategic management at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University. Her current research interests include coalition building, multiple goals, and the sources of myopia in firm’s strategic decision making. She has published papers on organizational learning theory and institutional logics in Academy of Management Journal and Journal of Management.

Heejung Jung (2014)
Dissertation Chair: Henrich Greve 
Heejung Jung is an assistant professor in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at Imperial College London. Her research focuses on the effect of social evaluations and non-regulatory factors on diversity and inequality in entrepreneurial teams, top echelons, and elite workers. Her work has been published in the Academy of Management Journal and Organization Science. It was also featured in major North American, European and Asian newswires and business titles, including Time Magazine, Fortune, Forbes, Canada Today, Capital.de and Maeil Business Newspaper.

Yonghoon Lee (2015)
Dissertation Chair: Martin Gargiulo 
Yonghoon Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. He is interested in how people in disadvantaged positions manage their networks and work identies to overcome the predicaments they face in ther careers. His research has been published in Administrative Science Quarterly, the Academy of Management Journal, and Organization Science.  His 2022 paper in Administrative Science Quarterly was selected as the best paper based on a dissertation. Before joining Texas AM, Yonghoon was an Assistant Professor at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

David Clough (2017)
Dissertation Chair: Balagopal Vissa
David Clough is an assistant professor at the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business in Vancouver. His research encompasses innovation ecosystems, technological evolution, interorganizational networks, and organizational learning. His work appeared in Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, and the Academy of Management Review.

Jamie Song (2021)
Dissertation Chair: Martin Gargiulo
Jamie Song is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at ESMT Berlin. Her research explores how entrepreneurs influence the evaluation of their innovations in the age of digitization. Her research uses social network analysis and machine learning methodologies to explore how entrepreneurs' communication style and use of preexisting relationships help them gain support for their innovations.  

Yeonsin Ahn  (2022)
Dissertation Chair: Henrich Greve 
Yeonsin Ahn is an Assistant Professor in the Strategy department at HEC Paris. Her research uses natural language processing and machine learning to develop and enrich knowledge on organizations. Her dissertation research obtained the Best Paper and Runner-up for the Best Student Paper Award of the 2021 Academy of Management OMT Division. It also won the Best PhD Conference Paper Prize and was finalist of the Best Research Methods Paper Prize at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Strategic Management Society.
