INSEAD Business Sustainability Programme

The course helped me see how sustainability practices, such as reducing waste or optimising energy use, can be integrated into business strategies and daily operations. Sustainability became a cornerstone for long-term resilience and growth, not just an additional business metric.

When we think of natural disasters like hurricanes or wildfires, we come to think about how much the frequency or intensity of these events has been affected by climate change.

My philosophy is one of sustainable abundance. I think the only viable path forward is creating a world where everyone can share in the wealth and the growth that an economy produces, and the production itself is sustainable.

Sustainability is absolutely critical in terms of advisory and board work. We’re at an important juncture in Europe and the US, where we really need businesses to rethink how they deliver shareholder value in the longer term. There is no shareholder value without stakeholder value.

In addition to the concepts, there were so many fascinating cases, guest speakers, experts and examples that you really got a clear view of what’s happening in the real world.
