Vinay joined INSEAD as a Predoctoral Researcher in November, 2026. He earned a Master of Science in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics and an Integrated MSc (BSc+MSc) in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
Before joining INSEAD, Vinay was a Research Intern at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, New Delhi, where he co-authored Policy Brief No. 46, examining whether India's pandemic output shock was transitory or permanent.
At INSEAD, Vinay is working with Professors John Fernald, Antonio Fatás, and Pushan Dutt. His research interests span industrial organisation, econometrics, and macroeconomics.
