I am a PhD Candidate in Management (specializing in Entrepreneurship) at INSEAD.
My research lies at the intersection of firm strategy and technological innovation, specifically focusing on how firms commercialize general-purpose technologies. My dissertation investigates start-ups and incumbents bringing artificial intelligence (AI) to market, analyzing the drivers of their strategic choices and the resulting performance outcomes. The analysis draws on quantitative methods and archival data.
My professional background, prior to starting my PhD, includes experience at an automotive company's R&D center and with different start-ups. I hold a BS in Industrial Engineering from Yonsei University.
