Jonathan holds a Diploma in Psychology from Temasek Polytechnic and a B.Soc.Sci (Honours with Highest Distinction) in Psychology from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. His undergraduate thesis involved experimentally threatening participants’ identity to investigate how the salience and centrality of their online identities predicted attitude advocacy online. During his undergraduate studies, Jonathan worked as a part-time research assistant at various research labs at NTU and the National Institute of Education, and as a Remote RA for OB faculty at INSEAD. After graduating, Jonathan joined INSEAD’s OB department as a predoctoral researcher. His current research interests include socioeconomic inequality, negotiations, and power and hierarchy, especially when using “shortitudinal” designs such as diary studies and experiential sampling.
