After completing her graduate studies at Columbia University, Chenyu worked in the United States as a research associate at Economists Incorporated, where she applied microeconomic theory and econometric analysis to healthcare litigation cases involving hospital mergers, pharmaceutical antitrust, and insurance reimbursement disputes. She later worked in China as a Strategy Planning Manager at Fosun Pharma, focusing on omnichannel pharmaceutical distribution and drug licensing strategy. Her research interests lie in healthcare operations management. She uses empirical and behavioural methods to study how technology and operational mechanisms shape healthcare delivery and healthcare system performance.
