BSc in Business Administration and Management at Università Bocconi; MSc in Finance at
Università Bocconi.
Born in Messina (Sicily), Biagio pursued his academic education in Milano, where he studied
Management and Finance at Università Bocconi. Throughout these years, he gained international
academic exposure at multiple European institutions, including HEC Paris, IE Business School and
London School of Economics. He began his professional career at Indaco Venture Partners, an
Italian venture capital asset management company, where he worked as an Investment Analyst in
the Digital area. Prior to joining INSEAD, Biagio worked as a Research Assistant within the AUB
Observatory on Italian Family Firms at Università Bocconi, where he also served as a Contract
Instructor, teaching courses in Management, Family Business and Corporate Strategy. He further
expanded his research experience through a project funded by Assoconcerti – the trade association
of Italian live music promoters – focused on estimating the economic impact of the live music
industry in Italy.
