BSc Mathematics & Computer Science, Ecole Polytechnique; Master in Management, INSEAD
During his early education, Andrei competed in mathematics and informatics olympiads for seven years, earning medals at national and international level. He completed his undergraduate studies at Ecole Polytechnique, where he worked as a research assistant at INRIA on large language models and at LiX on metaheuristics. After an internship at Fintica AI on generative adversarial networks for time-series forecasting, he joined Huawei Technologies France R&D, where he published a first-author conference paper on retrieval-augmented generation for telecommunications at IEEE GlobeCom 2024. During his time at INSEAD, he led the quantitative analysis component of a report on foreign investment in France for the French Foreign Trade Advisors. He returned to Huawei as a research engineer, where he finalised and published a journal paper in the IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications 2025, extending his prior work on RAG for telecommunications, and continued working on vertical scaling of large language models. His current research interests include autonomous agents, machine learning, market microstructure, and theoretical asset pricing.
