A double training programme in law and management, new in France, taught entirely in English on two campuses: Paris and Singapore starting in the academic year 2011 – 2012
The Université Panthéon-Assas, the first law university in France, and INSEAD, the leading international business school, have created the LL.M. International Business Law/Droit International des Affaires within the framework of the International School of Business Law, part of the research and higher education cluster, Sorbonne University.
This diploma, designed principally for candidates with at least four years of professional experience, addresses the needs created by the evolution of legal and financial directors’ roles by closely combining legal and management skills in one degree.
Organised around 16 seminars (eight in law, eight in management,) spread over the academic year and revolving around case studies and in-depth studies of key subjects, with a multidisciplinary perspective, the programme will prepare participants for handling such large-scale transactions as cross-border mergers, major acquisitions, stock-market operations, financial engineering, and leveraged buyouts (LBOs). The courses will be conducted in parallel in both Paris and Singapore by joint teams of experts in the field and teachers from Panthéon-Assas University and from INSEAD.
Each campus will admit a maximum of 30 students, selected on the basis of an application dossier and interview. The programme is aimed at French and foreign candidates holding a Master's degree in law or management, or a diploma considered equivalent, with the required mastery of English, as classes are taught in English.
