Audiences worldwide now have access to world-class research and management content as INSEAD joins iTunes U
International business school INSEAD has joined iTunes U, a dedicated area of the iTunes Store (www.itunes.com) that offers free audio and video content from leading educational institutions.
NSEAD on iTunes U includes video interviews of faculty, research, conferences, lectures, 'Leadercasts' which are one-on-one video interviews led by INSEAD faculty along with the school’s online newsletter Knowledge and 'The Big Interview' which are video interviews with prominent business and government leaders. INSEAD’s marquee events such as its Annual Leadership Summits and select roundtables, along with the full reports issued in conjunction with the conference will also be available on iTunes U. http://itunes.insead.edu.
"Virtual learning has become a natural extension of today’s educational environment,’ said J. Frank Brown, Dean of INSEAD."Leaders are interacting virtually more than ever before and need digital tools for continued learning. INSEAD on iTunes U will be of great interest to audiences around the world."
Economics Professor Antonio Fatas, INSEAD’s faculty IT advisor, who is the Portuguese Council Chaired Professor of European Studies said, “Ongoing knowledge and training should be widely available to the public. iTunes U will make INSEAD available to everyone."
“The INSEAD curriculum lends itself to online learning,” commented INSEAD Dean of Research and the Novartis Chaired Professor of Management and Environment, Ilian Mihov. “We are accustomed to presenting material across several different platforms to reach a global audience, as our research and case studies are often used in global Executive Education programmes.”
