INSEAD, the leading international business school, played host to some of Europe’s first rate opinion leaders and a full house of 300 attendees for the Fifth INSEAD Private Equity Conference (2007), held on 25 May 2007.
The annual INSEAD Private Equity Conference was organised by INSEAD’s Private Equity Club, supported by the INSEAD Alumni Relations Office and chaired by INSEAD’s Entrepreneur in Residence, Peter Záboji. This is the fifth year that the INSEAD Private Equity Conference has attracted panellists and keynote speakers from Europe’s top Private Equity firms. These included:
- Carl Parker, Head of Permira’s London Office
- Michael Phillips, Head of Apax Germany
- Klaus Hommels, European Entrepreneurial Investor of the Year 2006
- Mark Tluszcz, Co-founder of Mangrove (Venture Capital partner of the Skype team)
- Ivan Farneti, Partner Doughty Hanson
The INSEAD Private Equity Conference addressed a broad spectrum of topics including the future direction of the global buyout and venture capitalist industries. The conference presented discussions on emerging issues such as entrepreneurial investing and serial entrepreneurship in Europe, new ventures in Energy and Cleantech, Family business, Real estate, Healthcare and Technology, and Private Equity in Asia, all of which are INSEAD’s areas of expertise.
