MBA Student Life
Student Clubs
INSEAD MBA Student clubs are run by students and supported by the school. They play an important role in the student life, and solidify the MBA experience. Campus activities are organised by MBA student clubs and help to sharpen your leadership skills and enable you to explore and pursue new interests or old passions by becoming a member.
Business Clubs
A wide range of student-run business clubs work closely with INSEAD Career Development Centre. They organise regular networking and speaker events on campus, as well as trips and "career treks" further afield. Some of the larger clubs also organise prominent annual forums and conferences, like the Private Equity Conference, the Women's Leadership Forum or the Social Impact Week. Current business clubs include:
- Africa Club
- Asia Business Club
- Consulting Club
- Energy Club
- Education Club
- Entrepreneurship Club
- Environment & Business Club
- Global Leadership Club
- Healthcare Club
- INDEVOR (the INSEAD organisation for social impact, an affiliate chapter of Net Impact)
- Industry Club (covers all sectors, except consulting and financial services)
- Investment Management Club
- Private Equity Club
- Real Estate
- Retail, Consumer and Luxury Goods Club
- Women in Business (IWIB)
- Family Business Club
- Fintech Club
Sports Club
We have gyms offering regular fitness classes on both campuses (and squash courts in France), with a wide variety of sport clubs on both campuses. There are also opportunities to represent INSEAD at inter-business-school events, such as the MBA Regatta and the MBA Golf Challenge. Current sports clubs include:
Furthermore, Fontainebleau is the French capital of horse riding and has the most famous boulders for rock climbing in the world, while the forest adjacent to the campus is a major hiking centre and a beautiful place to run. In addition, the excellent municipal sporting facilities (indoor swimming pool, all-weather tennis courts, sports hall, rugby and football pitches) are right next door. On Asia Campus, Singapore's climate and location make it the perfect place for year-round water skiing, kayaking, diving and beach volleyball. Also most students live in "condo" apartments, which usually have pools and other sporting facilities.
Social Clubs
Last but not least, some clubs are just for fun but nonetheless offer opportunities to network or to pick up valuable new skills. Current social clubs include:
- OUTSEAD (for the INSEAD lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community)
