About Scholarship
The Class of MBA'91D created this endowed scholarship in memory of their classmate Andrew Hordern. Andrew was one of the “sparks” of '91D. He was generous, kind, open to all, helped many, and had a sense of humour that pervaded the whole class.
The class continues to make regular donations to their endowment, especially during their class reunions, which has enabled it to grow over the years. Andrew's family and friends also contribute to the scholarship.
Eligibility
The award is given to students whose background, work experience and personal profile is considered ‘non-traditional’ for an MBA programme e.g. performing artists, journalists, architects, medical practitioners, military, lawyers, research scientists, those employed in not-for-profit sector. First preference will be given to candidates with a scientific background.
Selection for this award also takes into account each candidate’s financial situation.
