Choosing Your Next Chapter: The Decisions and Negotiations That Matter Most
"Many of life's biggest decisions are shaped by a series of conversations, involving a myriad of factors, constraints, and wants. Pursuing a top business school programme often involves navigating complex questions around career progression, financial investment, tuition sponsorship, employer support, hiring potential, family priorities, geographical preferences, and several long-term professional goals."
Join Professor Horacio Falcão for a conversation about the negotiations and decisions that help you choose the best programme to shape your career and life in the direction you want.
Drawing on empirical evidence and real-life scenarios, including his own experience as an INSEAD graduate, Horacio will explore how we can approach this life-changing decision more thoughtfully, engage key stakeholders more effectively, and create opportunities with greater clarity and confidence. Rather than focusing on business negotiations, this session will examine situations that many candidates face today, including career transitions, family considerations, financial concerns, sponsorship discussions, and decisions about where and how to build a global future. Whether you are exploring options, preparing to start your INSEAD journey, or planning your next career step, this session will help you navigate competing priorities and make decisions that align with your goals.
Along the way, you'll experience the type of thinking, reflection, and practical frameworks that characterise the INSEAD learning experience.
