Professor Witt is a Fellow of the Academy of International Business, an honor given to distinguished scholars who have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to both the Academy and the international business field as a whole. He has published five major books and a range of articles in leading journals including Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of International Business Studies, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies and Journal of World Business.
He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from Harvard University and an A.B. from Stanford University. He has lived in China, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
