Luis Almeida Costa

Luís Almeida Costa is a Visiting Professor of Strategy at INSEAD. He holds PhD and MSc degrees in Management from INSEAD, and a Licenciatura in Economics from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. He is a Professor and the Vice-President of the School Council at Nova School of Business and Economics.

His research, teaching and consulting focus on competitive strategy and negotiation. He has published in many journals, including Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Organization Studies and Journal of Business.

Luís Almeida Costa was responsible for numerous consulting projects and conducted hundreds of executive programs for companies and governmental agencies throughout Europe, in Brazil, in Africa, in the Middle-East, in India and in South East Asia. He was honored by the President of Portugal with the title of Comendador of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator.
