Ilgin is an Assistant Professor of Technology and Operations Management at INSEAD.
Prior to joining INSEAD, she worked in the data science and advanced analytics teams at Meta and Apple in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley.
Ilgin’s research develops stochastic, data-driven models and computational algorithms for operations management problems involving sequentially interacting learning agents with information disparities. She is particularly interested in exploring applications in human-AI collaboration and (environmental) sustainability analytics.
