I didn't know what to expect - I had always been interested in multiculturalism and I thought I knew everything having had an international school background and living in a multicultural society. But once I started working with people, I can sense the gap - when dealing with our teams and clients around APAC in key markets such as China, Japan, Korea and other regions where our clients are based such as Europe, Americas...you think you know but you really don't.
I was looking forward to doing the INSEAD Leading Across Borders and Cultures programme face to face but unfortunately it was at the start of travel bans due to the pandemic. It was still a very good experience on live-virtual and the professor, Erin Meyer, is so passionate about her field of research - it engages you to dive into the topic more and more.
