What does it take to build a career that is not only successful, but also meaningful?
From studying chemical engineering at Tsinghua University to pursuing an MBA at INSEAD, Xueying (Céleste) Wang, MBA’18 has built a career that bridges technical expertise, business leadership and healthcare innovation. Her professional journey has taken her through McKinsey, Boston Scientific and Medtronic, where she now leads customer marketing for Neuromodulation across APAC and China.
Recognised as a Women's Forum Rising Talent in 2022, Xueying brings a perspective shaped by international experiences, career transitions and a commitment to making a tangible difference through her work.
In this episode of the 100 INSEAD Alumni Series, Xueying will reflect on the choices that shaped her career — from moving beyond a technical background to developing commercial and leadership capabilities, navigating different roles and markets, and discovering how business and innovation can create meaningful impact in healthcare.
In this session, we will discuss:
- How can professionals successfully reinvent themselves across industries and functions?
- What does it take to build leadership capabilities beyond one's original expertise?
- As careers evolve, how do we define success not only through professional achievement, but also through purpose, personal values and the impact we create?
Join us for a conversation about career transformation, leadership and building a meaningful career that goes beyond conventional definitions of success.
