Additional Information

Dr. Zac Cartun is a physician, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Stride Soles, a telehealth startup revolutionizing the orthotics industry through AI and 3D printing. He earned his MD from UMass Chan Medical School and an MBA from INSEAD, where he was awarded the Andrew Hordern MBA'91 scholarship.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Cartun volunteered to implement a telehealth solution, realizing the potential for convenience to improve patient experience and healthcare outcomes. Motivated to make a broader impact. During his time with INSEAD, he met Gregory Gerla, an Ironman athlete and former product manager frustrated with the cumbersome process of obtaining orthotic insoles. Together, they conceived Stride Soles, a telehealth app connecting patients to podiatrists for custom orthotic insoles.

Stride Soles offers a seamless solution for obtaining custom orthotic insoles remotely, with fifteen physical therapy clinics already on board and nearing their 1,000th customer. The company combines smartphone imaging and the latest additive printing technology to enable a more convenient, cheaper, and ultimately better orthotic.
