Vanessa has 21 years’ experience as an Executive Coach specialising in Strategic Career Management and Leadership Development. She has lived in Asia, Europe and is currently based in the UK.
She has coached INSEAD GEMBA, MBA, EMFIN & EMCC participants and alumni in complex multi-nationals as well as in start-ups and family businesses in sectors such as financial services, Tech, Telecoms, Pharmaceuticals, B2B and Oil & Gas.
Vanessa tailors her sessions according to needs using a combination of coaching models and tools to assist career development and transition, facilitating the building of self-awareness, identification of goals and an action plan. This covers job search strategy, networking, personal branding and the creation of a compelling pitch, high-impact CV, and performance at interviews.
Vanessa has navigated several career changes, previously working as a Strategy Consultant for The LEK Partnership and Schiphol Airport, an advisor to start-ups, and in Business Development for AT&T.
Prior to her MBA at INSEAD she was a Chemical Engineer at Shell.
Outside of work Vanessa enjoys yoga, pilates, singing, walking, travel and playing bridge. She is married to David with 2 children who are now happily making their own way in the world.
