Biography

Thomaz Teodorovicz is a visiting scholar form the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Copanhagen Business School. Previously, he worked at the Harvard Business School (HBS) and earned a Ph.D. in Business Economics from the Insper Institute of Education and Research, with a research stay at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

His research focuses on human development and strategic management. He is passionate about understanding how to lift the barriers to human development in emerging economies. Specifically, his research program studies the Governance of Human Development Services (How do distinct governance modes and organizational forms manage the tensions of providing human development services?) and the role of Human Development as an Internal Strategy (How can organizations leverage human development as a strategy to achieve superior performance?)

His research projects have been published in prestigious management journals, such as the Strategic Management Journal and Organization Science, and cited in the general and specialized press (e.g., the New York Times, Vox, MarketWatch, Harvard Business Review online, Revista Exame). For his research and service contributions to the Strategic Management community, Thomaz has also received multiple awards and recognitions from the Strategic Management Society and the STR division of the Academy of Management.
