Biography

Tetsuya Ohara is a practitioner faculty on innovation and sustainability and is also known as a pioneer of disruptive Eco innovation for high-growth rate organizations. He is an accomplished and dynamic leader with extensive experience developing and implementing solutions aimed at business growth.

Tetsuya is a founder of the environmental entrepreneurship development program and zen business strategy program at Pepperdine University Graziadio Business School in Malibu, California, and the clean innovation program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In the business world, Tetsuya was Vice President of Innovation at Gap Inc. in San Francisco and Head of Innovation at Patagonia in Ventura, California.

As an inventor, Tetsuya holds the numerous US and international patents. He earned MBA from Pepperdine University and completed the executive education program at Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and MIT Sloan School of Management.

Currently, Tetsuya is President of INCS Corporation, a San Francisco-based innovation consulting firm, and a member of the board of trustees at the University of St Andrews American Foundation.
