Richard Mak is Principal of Highland SFO and CEO of his family’s century-old real estate business in Hong Kong. He began his investment career in 1991 and joined the family office in 1998, bringing more than 35 years of experience across investment management and asset allocation.
Beyond investing, Richard has played an important role in strengthening his family across generations. One of his proudest achievements has been bringing together ten members of the third generation, helping them develop a shared voice and preserve family unity.
Richard is also a Global Ambassador for le club b, a longstanding international family office network connecting more than 900 family offices globally.
