Rémy Best has been Managing Partner of the Pictet Group since 2003. He has direct responsibility for the Pictet Wealth Management Division after being jointly responsible for the Group's institutional arm, Pictet Asset Management, from 2003 to 2014.
Prior to joining Pictet, Rémy spent six years with McKinsey & Company in New York, Zurich and Geneva, where he managed various projects, mainly in the financial services sector. Before working for McKinsey, he was a lawyer with Geneva law firm Lalive Budin & Partners. He joined Pictet in 1997 and in 1998 was appointed Head of Pictet & Cie (Europe) S.A. in Luxembourg, the bank responsible for the Group’s development within the European Union.
Rémy is a lawyer by training and has been admitted to the Bar of Geneva. He obtained an MBA from INSEAD in 1993.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of INSEAD since 2010. After chairing the Endowment Management Committee from 2010 to 2016, Rémy was appointed by the Board in 2016 to chair the fundraising Campaign.
