Paul Desmarais III is Chairman and CEO of Sagard, a global alternative asset manager with over $30B AUM, active in venture capital, private equity, credit, and real estate. Since 2016, he has driven Sagard’s international growth, backing firms like Wealthsimple, Koho, and Nesto. Paul co-founded Portage and Diagram, serves on major boards, and champions diversity, sustainability, and philanthropy. A Harvard and INSEAD (MBA'10J) graduate, he resides in Montreal with his wife and four children.
