Ms. Novita Jong is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in technology and commercial areas across the Asia Pacific region. She currently serves as the Senior Associate Director, Technology Commercialisation at NUS Enterprise, where she directs the commercialization of emerging technologies and deep-tech ventures from one of the world’s leading research institutions.
She is an SID-Accredited Director and member of Technology and Digital Chapter Board Committee at the Singapore Institute of Directors. Novita brings firsthand boardroom experience from her role as Executive Director at Shuttlerock and as an Industry Advisor to Kaplan academic boards. Her governance perspective is shaped by active engagement in overseeing straegy, innovation risk, and market expansion in AI-driven and platform-based business models.t
Novita’s executive career spans leadership roles at global technology companies including Google, Twitter, and Grab, where she led regional growth, market turnarounds, and ecosystem development across APAC. She has navigated diverse regulatory environments and challenges while scaling technology businesses in complex, fast-evolving markets.
A frequent speaker and workshop facilitator, Novita draws on her experience moderating board-level discussions on emerging technologies to help boards strengthen capabilities, broaden perspectives, and enhance boardroom dialogue amid technological disruption and global uncertainty.
Novita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bina Nusantara University Jakarta and an MBA from the National University of Singapore. She also obtained the Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD International Director Programme.
