Nafees is currently the Founding partner of a Private Partnered VC Sth Europe BGI. He is a board member of several start-ups that especially exemplify the sustainability agenda. A board member for the ISDF (under the guise of UNITAR), and a senior Advisor to LY Holding Capital( invests into businesses and companies that demonstrate a high score in Sustainability). Prior to this Nafees was the Defacto Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board of Standard Chartered Bank MENAPT, Chair of the Risk Committee and Head of the WholeSale Bank MENAPT. He is a trustee of Wakadogo( recently the T4 Ed winner of the prize for overcoming adversity). Nafees completed the IDP-C in 2017, the Advanced Certificate in Governance in 2021( inc. Leading from the Chair and Advanced Strategy for Directors). He is also the INSEAD Directors Network Ambassador for the UK
