Marco G. Palladino studies the role of firms in the determination of wage dynamics and labor contract choices.
In his main research project, he analyzes the effects of a Reform that increased the strictness of the regulation of temporary jobs in Italy.
His other research focuses on wage determination in France. He is currently investigating i) the contribution of firms to the gender wage gap over time and across worker types and ii) the dynamics of overall wage inequality and its between- and within-firm components.
He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Economics Department at Sciences Po, Paris. He holds an MSc in Economics at Bocconi University.
He has policy work on the side, tightly intertwined with his research. He is currently a Junior Economist for the Osservatorio del Terziario and a Fellow of Tortuga, the first think tank of young economists in Italy.
