Biography
Lilia Jolibois, MBA'92 is a seasoned executive with a robust background in investment banking, marketing, and industrial management. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University. Additionally, she was a Rotary International Foundation Scholar at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques, Aix-en-Provence.
Lilia began her career as a Financial Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Merrill Lynch in New York from 1987 to 1989. She then moved to Paris as an Associate in the Investment Banking Division at Merrill Lynch from 1990 to 1992. Following this, she transitioned to Sara Lee Personal Products as the Marketing Manager for Europe from 1992 to 1994, and then served as the New Business Director at MIA (financial services) from 1994 to 1995.
In 1995, Lilia joined Lafarge, where she held various significant roles until 2013. She started as a Special Advisor to the Chief Financial Officer from 1995 to 1996, and then as Director of Development for Central Europe from 1996 to 1998. She was appointed CEO of Lafarge Cement Ukraine and Chairperson of the Board of Mykolaivcement from 1998 to 2000. From 2000 to 2004, she served as CEO of Lafarge Gypsum Ukraine and CIS and Chairperson of Lafarge Gypsum Ukraine and Stromgyps Ukraine. She then became Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer for Lafarge Gypsum Compounds Business Worldwide from 2005 to 2008, and later, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain for Lafarge Aggregates, Asphalt & Pave Worldwide from 2008 to 2013.
Since 2012, Lilia has been a Board Director and Member of the Audit Committee at Theolia, S.A. She also serves as a Trustee, Board Director, and Member of the Finance and General Means Committee at CARA (The Higher Education Charity of the Year 2009 and 2013) since 2014.
Lilia is a Board Member of Fondation INSEAD France, reflecting on her ongoing commitment to education and professional development.
