CEO of Convatec
Jonny is a seasoned C-Suite leader and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Convatec on 6 November 2025, following a period as Interim Chief Executive Officer since 4 August 2025. He joined Convatec as Chief Financial Officer in January 2022 and has played an instrumental role in the company’s pivot to sustainable growth and shaping its strategic direction.
An engineer, accountant and MBA by training, Jonny has extensive experience in publicly listed and international businesses. He combines deep financial expertise with operational leadership, strategic insight, and a strong customer focus. Known as a talented people-leader, he has led successful enterprise transformations, built high-performing teams and strengthened balance sheets through disciplined cash and cost management.
Before Convatec, Jonny served as Chief Financial Officer of Dixons Carphone Plc (now Currys Plc) from 2018-2021, and Chief Finanical Officer and interim Chief Executive Officer of Halfords Plc from 2015-2018. His earlier roles include serving as Chief Financial Officer of Scandi Standard AB, Chief Finanical Officer at Odeon and UCI Cinemas, and Finance Director of Sainsbury’s Supermarkets, as well as holding finance positions earlier in his career at Shell and Hanson Plc.
