Executive Director of Learning Enablement and Effectiveness Sector, Gov Academy, Department of Government Enablement
H.E. Dr. Amna Al Mahri is the Executive Director of the Learning Enablement and Effectiveness Sector at Gov Academy, Department of Government Enablement. Her main focus is on enabling the Learning and Development Ecosystem, talent, and ensuring the effectiveness of the Learning and Development initiatives offered to meet the needs of Abu Dhabi Government Entities. These initiatives play a pivotal role in contributing to Abu Dhabi's future growth and ambitions.
With over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and Organizational Development, Amna plays an instrumental role in shaping the future of Gov Academy through strong leadership and vision in organizational transformation and strategic management. Before joining Gov Academy, she served as the Director of the Financial Knowledge Center at the Department of Finance. In this role, she led a range of programs, including the Future Financial Leaders Program, Tamkeen Program, Graduate Development Program, and the First Hackathon Initiative for Abu Dhabi Government. She also served as a Board Member at the Emirates Association of Accountants and Auditors, overseeing significant reforms and international collaborations.
Amna's dedication to the development of Abu Dhabi Government is reflected in her personal commitment to education. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration degree (DBA) from the University of Northampton and holds current certifications in Accountancy and Finance. She also holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Abu Dhabi University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Zayed University.
