Paris 2024 is a not-for profit private association - known as “Organising Committee” - responsible for planning, financing and delivering the next Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024.

Established in 2018, Paris 2024 is chaired by thee-time Olympic champion Tony Estanguet. It is run by an Executive Board, which brings together all the project’s founding members, namely the CNOSF & CPSF ( French National Olympic and Paralympic Sport Committees), Paris City Council, the French State, the Ile -de-France Region, Métropole du Grand Paris, Seine Saint Denis departmental council and the representatives from the towns and cities involved in the Games.

Paris 2024 employs more than 1500 people, from more than 50 different countries. Representing the diversity of such a global event, the team brings together athletes, major events specialists, experts from the public and private sector, and business leaders. The team also reflects the ambition to organise the Games differently, and to accelerate the build-up of the France of tomorrow. Team members share a quality: they are people that make big ideas come to life.

The Games are a dream opportunity to make progress on the environment, employment, the economy, education and more. Paris 2024 aims to harness sport and the excitement generated by the Games for the greater good, with unprecedented environmental ambitions such as being the firt Games aligned with the Paris Agreement and halving its CO2 emissions, using 95% existing or temporary venues and 100% renewable electricity, or reducing single-use plastics by 50%.
