Fahad is well versed in the technology and finance ecosystems in both MENA and the USA, having previously served as Group Managing Director of Sakhr Software, and is currently General Partner of The JEDI Fund and Vice Chairman of Kamco Invest - Saudi.
He joined the Investment Banking team at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in New York at the start of the Dot-com boom. He founded TechInvest in 2015, an advisory firm that provides opportunities for Middle East investors, including the established regional Sovereign Wealth Funds, to obtain exposure to private investment opportunities in the early and growth stage technology sectors in the USA. TechInvest advised and structured deals totaling over $1B money raised.
He advised A16Z, AngelList, Reid Hoffman, and several notable Silicon Valley leaders. He served as Chairman of the Board of AlMal Investment Co, and as a Board director at SAFTEC, AwalNet and currently at CODED, the first and largest coding academy in the GCC.
